Mars + Dana’s Short Film | Same Day Edit “Welcome to the Club”
The “Cool Rider” always gets the girl. A year ago, Mars and Dana asked us to use our unique style and magic to create their short film. Once we got their story together we knew this film was going to “rock the house” at the HaleKoa. We love it when the audience is non-stop screaming, laughing and tearing during the video presentation. Seeing the baddest members from the Tatau MC with their cell phones up high recording the film experience is something we don’t witness everyday. In the end, you will agree there’s a soft side to “The Baddest Men Alive.”
Carly + Lucky’s Short Film + Same Day Edit “Carly Got Lucky”
When the groom cries…
This is the first wedding I teared while creating the same-day-edit during the reception. As soon as I uploaded some ceremony footage, I knew this was going to be a tear jerker. When Carly and Lucky envisioned their wedding film, they wanted it to be totally unique and epic, just like their love. Since childhood, Lucky dreamed of being Superman and his kids grew up believing his super powers was their family secret. So together, we came up with the concept to bring their vision and dreams to life on film. As we transition from the short film’s happy ending, we witness Lucky, the tough guy superhero, soften as he sees his beautiful wife to be, Carly, walk towards him down the aisle. One of the most emotional and heartfelt moments we’ve ever captured, this kind of love is what we all live for.
Mel + Koa’s Love Story “Player 2”
Koa like to play games and he had it all, a great job, house and a brand new 4-Runner, but he was missing that one thing in his life, a “Player 2.” Everyone knows there’s always two sides to a love story. He said… she said…, we’ll let you decide if it was Mel’s gawkiness first impression of Koa or was it his silky smooth swag that won the missing piece to his life puzzle.
Tatienne’s Class of 2016 Film “Find Your Reason”
Francis and Jen wanted to celebrate their daughter Tatienne’s high school graduation in a unique way, something that was unlike anything they’ve ever seen. They came to us with their idea and based on their narrative we created a short film depicting the first 18 years of Tati’s academic journey. Like with all of our films, we come to know our clients a little bit more and even feel like they become family. It was no different when filming with the Sua family. The love they have for each other and the support these parents have for their daughter and her dreams is so endearing and so relatable, it will warm your heart and maybe even bring you to shed a happy tear. Congratulations to the graduate, Class of 2016, Tatienne Tugade Sua!
Cliff + Leslie’s Short Film + Same Day Edit “Can I be that man?”
A true love story, as told by the groom who’s “been smooth since the days of underoos.” He meets the beautiful girl of his dreams and chokes up as he attempts to buy her a drink. Like all good love stories, his charm wins her heart and we are transported to the moment they begin their lives together, as man and wife. Congratulations to Cliff and Leslie, the perfect marriage of love and style.
Keoni + Shirelle’s Love Story
Groom shares his last message to the bride-to-be before marrying her. It’s always nice to know the love story behind the bride and groom when joining in their once in a lifetime celebration on their wedding day.
Keoni + Shirelle’s Same Day Edit
A touching moment… The sound of the groom’s voice clearly revealed his genuine feelings for his bride. Keoni wanted to give Shirelle the most perfect wedding day possible, so he did everything in his power to do just that. We were happy to immortalize and capture on film a love like theirs, so honest and pure. We wish Keoni & Shirelle a life of enduring love and wedded bliss.

Lau + David’s Same Day Edit
Jamie + Marshal’s Wedding Day Highlights
Wilvin + Fides’s Wedding Day Highlights
An emotional moment for the groom. When Wilvin was asked during his wedding reception, “What was the best part of the day?” He confidently replied, “The first look.” We are so happy to have captured this most special moment for Wilvin and Fides. This film will grow to be an heirloom in their family as we’ve cinematically stopped time for this special couple. One day their children and grandchildren will watch this and say, “this was my father, this was my mother, this was my grandfather and this was my grandmother. This is my legacy.”
Vincent + Aubrey’s Wedding Day Highlights
We are pleased to share the continuation of the short film, “TWENTY MISSED CALLS” leading to a happy ending. Vincent & Aubrey always prayed to meet their soul mates and finally gets to love one another.

Meet Bebe Kingston of Kardashian Kids. On a sunny California day, this little mermaid celebrated turning “TWO” with a magical “Under the Sea” themed party, hosted by her parents, Deanne + Dillon. Their home was magically transformed into a Coral Kingdom, complete with a storytelling mermaid + cotton candy-spinning coral fairy. The guests enjoyed a feast of Hawaiian/Filipino food and an endless amount of desserts, including sea colored macarons and a three-tier vegan custom birthday cake. Kingston danced with her friends in a sea of bubbles and ended the night’s festivities with a drive in her brand new classic kiddie car. Thank you LA family for inviting us to be a part of your world. We’ll be back soon!
Rick moved to Hawaii from Colorado about 14 months ago and have decided to become a permanent resident after falling in love with Jess. Jess + Rick shares the Story of how they found love in this beautiful island called Hawaii. When we first met with them, we were curious to know who was the better driver and who wore the pants. However, it was pretty obvious to say who made the first move.
Meet Kasy and John who both found love in an elevator. Recently decided to tie the knot and are now true believers of “Love at First Lift.”
Have you ever wanted someone special in your life to know how much you love and appreciate them? The Parubrub’s pulled together their creative resources and arranged a beautiful evening filled with a feast, timeless history and celebrations for the matriarch of their family, Grandma Filomena.
Meet Kasy and John who both found love in an elevator. We were so intrigued by the tale of how they met. We just knew there was no better way to share their story on their wedding day than by making a movie out of it.
